Lunden, Walter Albin, 1899-

Walter Albin Lunden was born in Minnesota on March 27, 1899. He received his B.A. (1922) from Gustavus Adolphus College, his M.A. (1929) from the University of Minnesota, and his Ph.D. (1934) from Harvard University. Lunden was professor of sociology (1931-1943) at the University of Pittsburgh when he enlisted in the Army became a chief prison officer in the Military Police.
